Use of the Service
You may use the Service only in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Your Content and Ownership
You retain full ownership of the characters, worlds, stories, images, and other original content you create or upload to Metos.
By using the Service, you grant METOS TECHNOLOGIES LTD a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display your content solely as necessary to provide, maintain, and operate the Service.
Your private content remains private unless you choose to share or publish it using the Service's available sharing features.
When you publish content to Community or otherwise make it publicly available, you grant METOS TECHNOLOGIES LTD permission to display, distribute, and make that content accessible to other users through the Service.
This licence does not transfer ownership of your intellectual property to METOS TECHNOLOGIES LTD.
Community and Public Content
Metos allows users to share fictional projects, characters, worlds, and other creative material through its Community features.
By publishing content, you confirm that you own the material or have the necessary rights and permissions to share it.
You agree not to publish content that:
- Infringes another person's copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights.
- Contains unlawful, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory material.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, exploitation, or other unlawful activities.
- Contains pornographic material or sexual exploitation.
- Violates another person's privacy or shares personal information without permission.
- Contains spam, malicious links, or other harmful material.
Fictional depictions of conflict, violence, or mature themes are not automatically prohibited, provided they comply with applicable laws and our content standards.
Content Moderation and Reporting
METOS TECHNOLOGIES LTD reserves the right to review, restrict, hide, or remove publicly shared content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or our community standards.
